Dentist (Pediatric)
Examine, diagnose and treat diseases, injuries and malformations of the teeth and gums, focusing on treatment of children. Perform examination of the teeth, gums and related tissues, using dental instruments, X-rays or other diagnostic equipment, to evaluate dental health, diagnose diseases or abnormalities and plan appropriate treatments. Administer anesthetics to limit the amount of pain experienced by patients during procedures. When required, treat diseases of nerve, pulp, and other dental tissues affecting oral hygiene and retention of teeth.
- Requires Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) or foreign educational equivalent. Must have valid dentistry license/eligibility in the State of Michigan.

Full Job Description
We are a busy pediatric dental office looking to bring in a full time dental assistant. We rotate four days a week including two Saturdays a month.
The skills we are looking for are as follows:
- Communication skills
- Able to take digital X-rays
- Able to read X-rays
- Able to use an intraoral camera
- Comfortable using the computer
- Able to take impressions
- Some lab work required
- OSHA knowledge
- Able to make temporary crowns
- Experience with four handed dentistry techniques
- Be a team player
- Have a good work ethic
