If you and our pediatric dentists determine that oral sedation is right for your child, your child will be prescribed a pill that will help him or her relax. You and your child will also receive instructions to take the pill before his or her scheduled appointment; be certain to follow the specific instructions included with the pill. When you and your child arrive at our office, your child will be awake but extremely relaxed. He or she may feel drowsy, and it is not unusual for your child to not remember all of the details of his or her appointment.
